Did you manage to locate the JIM office and work out a valuation?

The office is in Tunbridge Wells , which they rent off the founder. The data centre I’ve contacted the company and waiting for a reply. Any insight?

Sorry, I have no insight. Just interested . I spotted GABI on p23 of the ic today. They are in ‘ managed wind down’ . Is this one on your list. I'm going to look into it when I have time.

I love this content, many thanks for presenting these situations. I assume the plan is to go monetised at some point?

Thank you Peter. I appreciate it. I’m not sure about future plans. I eventually want to do some activism and push for liquidations myself. So, I see this helping with exposure and credibility etc.

Aquila European Renewables (AERI) - Managed wind-down approved September 2024. Final results (https://www.investegate.co.uk/announcement/rns/aquila-european-renewables--aeri/final-results/8845581) state “Although the Company is in a Managed Wind-Down, the Board believes that the Period, being approximately two years, is an appropriate time horizon over which to assess the viability of the Company.” This is the only timeframe I have seen so far with regards as to how long the managed wind-down may take. There is literally nothing anywhere on the company website about it to be found. Company trades currently at around 34% discount to NAV.

A lot of these renewable energy trusts are trading at big discounts. I just don’t know how to value the assets. Can you value them? How confident can you be of NAV? There’s definitely opportunity for someone with industry knowledge here.

If you got in ŻYT at 0.38 you had a chance to get out at 0.44 for a very quick 16%. Do you expect to win more by waiting until the end? I mean that’s an interesting case for opportunity cost considerations…
